The School Council
The School Council provides a forum in which students involve themselves in the running of the school and debate issues of common interest.
The Council consists of one representative from each form, as well as the Head and Deputy Head, who are permanent members!
What does the Council discuss?
We meet every half term, and the Council's agenda commonly focuses on matters of significance to the school and student body. We take the views that students put forward in this forum into account when making decisions about the running of the school – and believe that it is immensely beneficial for pupils to feel engaged in issues of this kind.
Leckford Place is a member of the national Schools Council network, and are represented at the Oxfordshire Youth Parliament.
