Music performances

Performances offer an event to work towards and a chance for students to share their music with others. Below are some of the performance opportunities open to Leckford students.

The Winter Concert

A mixture of musical and dramatic items, the annual Winter Concert takes place in December. Featuring everything from instrumental solos to pupil-led rock bands, it's an energetic and eclectic occasion.

The Summer Soirée

Held towards the end of the summer term, the Summer Soirée is a themed concert, in which the musical programme, decor and ambience are all planned according to the chosen theme. Guests enjoy wine, dessert and coffee in a relaxed café-style atmosphere.

4.15LIVE!

We hold a series of regular concerts – 4.15LIVE! – on Friday afternoons at (as you might imagine) 4.15pm. These informal concerts are open to staff, friends and family, and offer a venue in which to gain performing experience and a supportive audience for musicians.

Leckford Place productions

Over the course of the year, there are other Leckford Place productions, such as last year's Not In Front of the Waiter, which give students another chance to perform.
